The Redmi 14C has long been the subject of rumors. The phone was seen on the website of a Vietnamese merchant before the Xiaomi sub-brand officially announced the phone’s launch date. The phone’s design, specifications, and debut date are all disclosed in the listing. According to the listing, the Redmi 14C would have a 50-megapixel primary back camera, a 5.160mAh battery, and a 6.88-inch LCD. It is intended to replace the Redmi 13C from the previous year.
Redmi 14C Expected to Launch on August 31-
A Vietnamese e-commerce website, Thegioididong.com, has listed the unreleased Redmi 14C, which was spotted by GizmoChina. The alleged marketing posters shared by the publication suggest a launch date of August 31 for the device. It is shown in black, blue, and green colors. The blue color variant seems to have a gradient finish.
The Redmi 14C looks different from its predecessor — the Redmi 13C — if looked at from the back. Images reveal the presence of a circular camera module on the rear of the phone, housing dual cameras, besides an LED flash. It appears to have a centrally placed waterdrop-style notch for housing the selfie shooter.
According to the listing, Redmi 14C is due to come with a 6.88-inch LCD with HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 90Hz. It is listed with an AI-backed camera unit that will be led by a 50-megapixel main sensor. It seems to have a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and a 5,160mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.
Although the listing of the retailer doesn’t mention anything regarding the processor powering the Redmi 14C, a recent report suggested that it could be the MediaTek Helio G91 Ultra SoC. It is going to come in 128GB and 256GB storage options with 4GB RAM as standard.
Although the Redmi 14C’s price is yet unknown, it is reasonable to believe that it will be a reasonably priced device. Confirmation of the price won’t come until the formal debut on August 31st.
With a starting price of Rs. 7,999 when it premiered in India last December, the Redmi 13C implies that the upcoming model will probably be released at a price point that is affordable for most people.
